The purse to be distributed: $1,000 to horses finishing 6th through last place, with the balance of the purse to be divided; 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth, 3% to fifth. Weights: Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 124 lbs. Non-winners of $35,000 once at a mile or over in 2022, allowed 2 lbs.; $25,000 once at a mile or over in 2022, 4 lbs. (Claiming races not considered in estimating allowances.) High Weights Preferred. (Horses of equal weight, preference will be total earnings in non-claimingraces in 2021-2022.) This race may be limited to a number of starters based on the position of the portable turf rail. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. (If deemed inadvisable by management to run this race over the turf course, it will be run on the main track at One Mile and One Sixteenth.).
